Near Eastern Iron Age Saucer Lamp

I – Early Iron Age II period) DIMENSIONS: 15.5 cm (6.0 in.) long / 16.5 cm (6.5 in.) wide
DESCRIPTION: Ceramic oil lamp with shallow bowl, wide slightly everted rim, pinched mouth forming
a constricted area for the wick to rest, and rounded bottom with no distinct base. Larger than most examples of this type.
Most of the rim and part of the bowl on one side has been rejoined from a few fragments, with minor areas of restoration
at the joins; otherwise complete and intact.
