DATE: 1st - 4th Century AD
DIMENSIONS: 1.95 cm (0.76 in.) diameter
DESCRIPTION: Intact. A doughnut shaped blue glass Roman bead, crumb decorated with flecks of red, white and yellow glass, worked in the flame and marvered flush with the bead's surface. Very minor surface chipping but otherwise well preserved surfaces and strong colors. Wearable.
PROVENANCE: Formerly in a Canadian private collection
